It was time to get the gang back together after our pandemic related hiatus! We networked in the newest addition to Saratoga CoWorks on 92 Congress Street. Make-A-Wish was our featured non-profit group and we learned about their all-important mission of making dreams come true to children and their families.

Racing City Brewing Company hosted our September gathering in their tasting room on Excelsior Ave. We also learned about Coesa‘s mission of wellness and new facilities they are creating in the Saratoga Spa State Park.

Our May SWIB gathering was hosted by The Savory Pantry at their location at 486 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, and our not-for-profit spotlight for May was on Beyond My Battle, which helps people and their loved ones manage the emotional stress of illness and disability though mindfulness, positivity, and self-care.

Our 5-minute not-for-profit spotlight for March was on the Veterans and Community Housing Coalition, which provides housing and support services to homeless military veterans and their families, as well as low-income households.

Hickey Women’s Services unit and provides scholarships for advanced nursing education.

The patio of Look TV made for the perfect setting of this month’s gathering! We had a great group and lucked out with beautiful weather for the last official day of summer. Our non-profit spotlight was on Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region, an organization that pairs children with positive adult role models.

In addition to fellowship, food, and wine, we enjoyed a short presentation about our not-for-profit spotlight organization, ACTT Naturally, a local woman-run program that retrains off-track thoroughbreds for new futures, partnering the horses with women who are overcoming adversity.
